Finding Your Way with Intentional Horsemanship

A BWR Retreat Experience

What Participants Will Experience

  1. During Finding Your Way with Intentional Horsemanship, participants will step away from the hurry of everyday life and enter a quiet ranch environment where horses, land, and learning come together.

  2. They will not be asked to “perform” with horses. Instead, they will be invited to slow down, observe, breathe, listen, and begin to notice what horses are communicating through posture, movement, attention, and emotion.

  3. Participants will experience how horses respond when humans become more present, regulated, and intentional. They will learn that horsemanship is not only about technique. It is also about awareness, timing, emotional clarity, and authentic connection.

  4. Through teaching, observation, hands-on practice, and reflection, participants will begin to understand how Intentional Horsemanship helps the horse feel safer, more supported, and more able to think, learn, and connect.

  5. This retreat is designed for people who want to deepen their relationship with horses, better understand equine behavior, and discover a more thoughtful way of being with them.
