"Regulating the Nervous System- Going Over Obstacles"
- Friday 4:00pm - 7:00pm
- Saturday 10:00am - 4:30pm
- Sunday 10:00am - 1:00pm
Co-Regulation is the key to "feel" when working with horses.
This clinic builds core understanding about our nervous system and the horse's-and how they dramatically influence each other. With this information you will be able to be aware of yourself- and make your own adjustments so the horse can find safety in being with you. Through focused learning and guided, hands-on practice. Grounded in Horse Speak® and the Brain and Central Nervous System, participants learn to recognize safety, communication, and readiness.
You can take this practical information and use with any horse- becoming more proficient in what the horse is presenting. Chances are very good that they are already offering to help regulate you. You just need to know what to look for.
This is the key to willingness and cooperation in doing any task.
September 4-6: Three-Day Clinic at Riversong Sanctuary
3Day Clinics are scheduled for:
- Friday 5:30pm - 7:30pm
- Saturday 10:00am - 4:30pm
- Sunday 10:00am - 12:30pm
A Clinic is a hands-on learning experience designed for people who want to deepen their understanding of horses in a practical, real-world setting. One day clinic from 9:30 to 4:30. Unlike a Workshop, which is primarily educational and presentation-based, a Clinic combines learning, demonstration, observation, and direct practice with horses.
Riversong Horse Sanctuary is located at:
- 19695 SE Buckhorn Dr, Prineville, OR 97754
- 541-977-5611, hello@beingherdandseen.com
Riversong Horse Sanctuary is located approximately 30 minutes east of Prineville, surrounded by the solitude and quiet of the Maury Mountains. Simply arriving here can feel like a restorative experience – a chance to slow down, breathe deeply, and leave the noise of everyday life behind. Although the ranch feels wonderfully remote, Google Maps will guide you directly to us.
