Theme: Part 2- Learn to read the horses body language though recognizing the state of their nervous system and the importance of recognizing the state of our own nervous system.

The Autonomic Nervous System (ANS)
- Sympathetic (activation)

Experiential- Senses Stimulation
- Partners guide each other safely: slow steps, subtle cues
- Switch roles
Purpose: To feel dependence, alertness, trust and sensory intensity
Application-
- Recognizing Sympathetic and Parasympathetic Nervous System activation in horses
- Learning to recognize Postures, Gestures & Signals
- Micro signs: nostril tension, blinking, head height, rib expansion, tail movement
Reflection-
- "When did you feel unsafe? What restored trust?"
- Homework: Identify your horse's SNS to PNS transitions this week.
