“A horse’s gestures, postures, and signals emerge from the sensory world they live in creating a rich, functional language essential for survival.”

Learn to read the horses body language though understanding their Sensory World.

Your horse lives in a different world than you do. Come to understand it better.

Objectives:

  1. Explore how horses perceive the world
  2. Establish the foundation for sensory empathy

Teaching topics:

  • Why is the drive to survive so important, and why that matters?
  • Horse vs. human sensory priorities
  • Horses live moment to moment- not the future or past

  • How to avoid triggering the startle reflex
